Blog 14-Revision of blog #8- Why me?

Why me? Why did I have to get corrupted? Why me? Why did I have to go tell the guys that the beast was a fake? Why me? Why did I get attacked, bit and scratched to death? But the real question is WHY US? If it wasn't for the plane crash I wouldn't be sitting here saying why me, why me. Well I think it was a sign maybe it was time for me to go. Maybe it was a stupid mistake, but now nobody would ever know.

When I saw the pig talk to me, right there I knew that something was going to happen to me, but I didn't know when, or how. I just had to be ready. After the lord of the flies said what is had to say and when I fainted then woke back up it dawned on me on what I had to do, I had to see what was really up there on top of the hill. Why I really wanted to do that is because I didn't know really what was up there. I started to walk up there in a steadfast pace. When I reached to top of the cliff I saw this thing, the wind was blowing it all around. I went up to it and I saw that it was a dead parachutist. Then I realized that the beast wasn't real. I started to go back down the hill to tell the guys but then I fell and fainted.

I got back up and it was dark, I remembered what I was going to do so I started down hill again. I noticed that they moved there fire. They was doing a wired dance was singing “Kill the beast, Cut his throat, Spill his blood” and I realized that it used to be kill the pig and not kill the beast. Rain started to trickle on my back. I Started to tremulous it was cold and I was scared just like all of the other boys, it felted like I lost my hearing because I couldn't here anything. They stopped dancing and then ran towards me. I got my hearing back as the scratched, bit and stab me. It was so pain full and it hurt so bad. Right before I died, I thought about the lord of the flies and what it said to me, and I knew that, that was my time. But I still ask why me, why now?

blog #13-revition of blog # 9-"it was a accident! or was it?"

I dreaded for that day to come, and it came somebody was killed, and it was my good old friend, Simon. I've been trying to convince Ralph that it was a accident and not a murder. “no it wasn't it was a murder Jack killed him he knew they was going to after the beast, because they was scared, he noticed that Simon wasn't there, and he hypnotized them with the dance” said Ralph
“No it was not a murder, think about it. It was dark they was scared, we was all scared. I bet you also thought that, that was the beast, it was dark, there was lightning,” I told him that to calm him down, “They tried to stifle him so he wont try to bite them like if he was a vampire or some thing you saw them they didn't know he started to shudder and then he stopped moving and that was the end.”

"Well maybe you are right, but who really knows. Right now all I'm going to start caring about is the rest of the people that is one my side, or if we get rescued or not. Wow I really miss my dad” There was a long pause for a moment, then we heard something in the distance. It was Samneric, we could tell because they was talking like one “oh no. Samneric is coming and i do not belive that they knew we was a the party so don't talk much about it.” We really didn't talk much about Simon it was also a very short talk before the sun went down. We went to bed “Piggy, piggy are you awake I think I hear something outside. Piggy!” “5 more minuets mommy I don't want to go to school” “Piggy!” “Oh I'm sorry I was dreaming, awwww stop hitting me Ralph that hurts!” “I'm not hitting you, aww stop piggy! What jack what are you doing” “Run away! I have what we came here to get!”said a deep voice. The people that was beating us up left and ran away I was in the corner because of my asthma they tried to smother me so I was the corner breathing deeply. Ralph went out side I crawled behind him and we seen jack and some of the bigums running with my glasses. “Why didn't they take the conch?” I asked “Isn't just as important as the glasses?” “Well I guess for his group its not.” The moon was bright and the phosphorescence of it was grate. I decided to just sit there and look at the moon, but I could tell that the sun was going to start to rise.

I steeped on the beach for a moment I heard silence then I here boys in deep voices saying "heave! Heave! heave!" and the something like a boulder crashing down to the ground and the earth silently vibrated I stared to here a fire starting up it sounded like if you was to crumple up a piece of paper begin to cower I hope that those boys or who ever the are ok I was just sad that I couldn’t go in there because we could only go a serton distance from our boat on strange islands until the swat team gets here and that the coast is clear I began to visualize what they was doing if they was killing each other or if they was just having a bomb fire I heard a ululation then I fainted to a small boy rolling down the beach with smaller boy running after him I stood up then every body stopped and stared at me there was a little bit of crying and everybody was dirty but our people managed to get them on the boat just fine I wanted the kid named Ralph to elaborate more on what happen but he was to shocked to take at the time this kid name jack well out what I had heard so for I think we should take him to court

Decision on judge or jury, the the defense will decide if they wanted to be tried by the jury or the judge, prosecution cant require a jury trial.

Jury selection, it the defense decides to be tried in front of a jury the defense and prosecution selects the jury thru a question and answer proceeder called the voir dire. The judge use the questions suggested by the attorneys or the judge will make up their own questions.

Evidence issues, this procces is called in limine it is where the defense and the prosecution to admit or exclude some of the evidence.

Opening statements, the prosecution will make an opening statement to judge or the jury. The statements has an outline of the case. And then the same for defense.

Prosecution case-in-chief, the prosecution examine their witnesses by the prosecutor.

Cross examine, the defense cross examine the prosecution's witnesses.

Redirect, the prosecution re-examine their witnesses.

Prosecution rest, the prosecution is done with their side of the story

Motion to dismiss, defense may move to dismiss charges if they think that the prosecution failed to produce enough evidence.

Denial of motion to dismiss, most of the time the judge denies the defenses motion to dismiss

Defense case-in-chief, the defense examine their witnesses.

Cross examine, the prosecution cross-examine the defense's witnesses

Redirect, the defense re-examines their witnesses

Defense rest, the defense is done with their side of the story

Prosecution rebuttal, prosecutor offers some advise to refute the defenses case

Settling on jury instructions, prosecution defense and the judge gets together think of instructions that the judge will give to the jury

Prosecution closing argument, prosecution makes a closing argument and summarize the evidents and explaining why the jury should render the verdict guilty.

Defense closing argument, the defense will do the same or they will try to render the verdict not guilty

Prosecution rebuttal, the prosecution has the last word and argues that the jury has bad evidence that supports a finding of guilty

Jury instructions, the judge tells the jury what law to apply to the case and how to carry out on its duties

Jury deliberations, jury deliberates tries to reach a verdict and if they don't they require an
unanimous vote agreement. For example if the votes was 7 of 12 of the votes

Post-trial motions, if the jury files a guilty verdict the defense sometimes makes a post trial motions requesting the judge to override the jury

Denial of post trial motions, most of the times denies the post trial motion

Sentencing, if the jury decides a verdict of guilty the judge sentence the defendant right then and there or on another day

Basically what a bailiff does is they walk around the court and give out messages threw out the court. The bailiff also helps the judge maintain order in the court and will escort and people that the judge tells them to escort out. The bailiff also swears in each wittiness every time they are called up to the stand. They also hands papers and information to the judge and like evidence and stuff like that.

Blog #10 The Rock

“whats happening!”we shouted “we hared somebody creeping out side.”

“ow”

“hey don't hit my brother i can only do that

“hey!”

well i had to deafened you some how ouch Eric!” we started weaseling each other but then we got tired of fighting and then we went out side and fell asleep in the other cabin.

The next day Ralph and Piggy was talking about how they was going to get piggy's glasses back we butted in.

“what are you going to tell him-”

“tell him that-”

“you are going to-”

“set the whole forest on fire!”

“no we cant do that ware are we going to sleep” piggy said with a sigh “you know what I'm gonna tell him that it the right thing to do and he has to,” he said proudly “are you with me!”

We all started to walk to the big rock ware jack usually is, we walked up there all proud until we seen jack he was talking to Ralph and piggy very badly we jumped out and said “leave them alone!”

“guards go tie them two up!” he said in a deep voice we tried to fight them but it didn't work they threw us down on the floor and tied us up with some type of sting or a leaf thing from the tree.

Ralph started to fight with jack but of course piggy talked Ralph out of it them we saw roger trying to push the bolder off of the cliff

“Piggy-”

“look out!”then jacks guards covered our mouthes and we couldn't worn piggy that the bolder was going to crash on him the bolder fell and piggy went flying off the cliff we bite their hand and then we ran next to Ralph piggy fell hard and his head busted open it was a very sad moment. Jack's guards captured us again, then we saw Ralph walk away sadly.

“we want to keep being in Ralph's tribe”

“why so you guys can starve to death”

“well find food on our own,”

“well them i will just beast it out of you” and he did

“Sam i cant take it any more we should-”

the dome mistake blog #7

we was going hunting so i put on a discise so the pigs wont tell if im human or not when it was all over i washed up and and went to my covert plase whare the tendills are it seemed like there was a infinate amoutnt of tendrlls hanging from the rock I raped up in to a ball and and i started to snivel a little bit and then i felt asleep the next day i discided to hunt in the low part of the forest i saw a pig mom so i was ready to kill so i held my speare compromisingly but then i thought if i kill it and that is the only woman pig i will mess up the food chain in a way. i went to the huts so i could tell ralph they we should go to the top of the moutain in the day light and see what that really was up there becuse i do not belive that that we a beast by the time i got up by the huts i forgot what i was going the tell ralph so i said somthing sagley so he wouldnt think that i was crazy but he looked influriating so i walked away and i looked like i just made a blunder i went to my secreat place again and fell asleep

The dream!!! blog #5

One night i was walking on the shore line at mission beach, I got tired of walking so I went to my towel and laid down on it, it was a hot night, so I just laid down and looked out in the sky and watched the stars it kind of seemed like they was playing base ball I fell asleep it felt like I was the only person on the beach but I knew that every body else was by the bomb fire I started to dream about the stars again but this time they was on a real baseball field and I was on there team it was the stars against the dogs and they was really dogs and they was standing on their back legs and they was talking!! the score was 3 to 3 the 9th inning, bases loaded i was the next bater up and we already had two outs, I got my lucky bat then i realized it was up to me to to hit the winning score. I was at the plate the dog threw the ball I missed SSTTRRIiIKKEE 1 the dog threw it again SSTTRRIIIKKE 2 I thought to my self we have to win this we haven't won a game in 3 months I got ready to hit the ball again the dog threw it I hit it as hard as I could the bat broke and I hit a home run ! and we won the game. Then while we was cheering I thought to my self I broke my lucky bat.

I heard the dogs meowing and i got scared i woke up to my cat on me because my sister set her on me it was time to go home so we could continue the party at my house when we got home there was already people there i went in side and saw that the theme was stars i smiled and went to go eat

"hunting again!"blog #4

thats all that they do is hunt and he dosent even stop and ask if we need help building the huts. and only me and simon is is building the huts and we are all ways in deep pain after every day while jack is up telling scary stories to the littleuns and having every body shill at the last part of the storyi belive that he is malevolent and also a shellfish jerk yesterday i saw him spinning a kid around in a gyration motion and let him run into a tree, laughed then walled awayi thought that, that was just preposterous and stupid i couldnt belive that he waould do such a thing well i do think that he will do that. i really dont thik that simon i normal every night i see him go to some type of thing that had tendrills hangging down from it and then i would hear him whimmper and speak to him self he would also see all kind of mirages he said that his mirages had opalscance in it but i didnt know what he was talking about but at least he alway showedimplication like he cared about others like he would clime to almost the highest part of all of the trees to get fruit for the littleuns. but piggy idont know he always tells incredulously stoies about his auntie and they are so irrelevent

"we need meat more then huts!"blog #3

Piggy and ralph all they do is think a bout building huts and order but out here you need to hunt in order to stay alive but i do want to get the respect from every body in the groupe so i will be leader and i could rule!!! i no what i could do i could throw them a little party with festoon hanging from the trees and we could put more than just flowers and all of the girly stuff insted we could put manly stuff but they might want to now why i want to give a party. well i still think that piggy and simon are scardy cats i saw simon go in to a cave like thing so i followed him i saw him curl into a ball and started to cry whare he was at was some type of thing with tindrill hanging down from it. and then he had the nerve to call me oppressive i was pissed! i wonder what that means any way. and then piggy i think thare is somthing extremly wrong with that one he is like inscrutable or something ralph just seams bewildered of all of this comotion that is going on.
today i saw simon getting ready to help ralph build the huts he looked like he wanted to come up to me flauntively but instead he gave me a furtive glance it kind of creapeted me out.
later that day i went to go hunt with the guys so i went to go find something barb like but it felt like some thing was fallowing me.
that night i thouht i saw a boat out in the sea beacuse i saw a glimmer over buy the water when i got over there it was just the moon reflecting from the sea i sat no the shor line just thinking if we was every going to get saved and i looked up at the moon and the ralph called my name.

Fire Fire Fire!!! "blog #2"

Dear thoughts,


Today I couldn't believe that Ralph just left me and the conch right there to go make that dumb fire, I touched the conch so lightly I could barely feel it I picked up the conch and started to walk nimbly, very quick and light on my feet so I won't fall and brake the conch and loose all of the respect that I kind of have all ready. when I got up there Jack smiled at me in a scornful way it kind of freaked me out so I smiled back but in a more nice way he stopped smiling and then rolled his eyes then turned away he said something that made everybody be tumult they was very loud jack looked at me for a while and said that they can use my glasses he took them from me very officiously then everything got quiet there started to be sparks then there was FIRE everybody cheered and clapped and jumped around jack looked like he wanted to warp my glasses and twist them all around but he looked at them then gave them back I was so proud of him until he saw a pig and looked at it very irresistible and he looked like he wanted to go after he looked at the fire and back at where the pig was but it wasn’t there any more hi face changed and it got all sad looking. Then he went back at the fire and cheered up.

The Morning Sky Blog # 1

One moment I was in a plane flying over the ocean the next moment I was in a jungle and was surrounded around all boys wait I'm getting ahead of myself let me tell you my story I was going to some type of all boy convention thing that my mom was making me go to. This one boy that was sitting next to me on my right side was telling me about how he hated going to these things I thought he was just acting decorous until he said that he is going to try to do something about it the boy only looked about seven or eight years old he said that he was going to do something that might kill him but I wasn’t really listening and the end of his story he went to the bathroom. I heard A strident noise in the back but I ignored it the plain started to quiver and that’s when I started to worry vainly about him then all of a sudden I see something coming at me and I blacked out I really remember much that night but I woke up on beach to the morning sky I was sitting there thinking about the guy on the right of me then I looked up at the sky again and began to speculate on what just happened. Then I heard a noise I thought that it was a very weird sound it sounded like somebody was blowing a conch stridently I got up so fast I got dizzy then fell down I got up again but slowly this time I started to go in to the jungle I heard people talking gratingly the two boys had a conch I start to interpose myself but I was too shy so I just eased-dropped on what that was talking about they started to go towards the beach the boy blew the conch a couple of times and a clamor of boys came out one by one from hiding I started to go out there then I started to fell indignation inside of me I think because I could’ve stopped the plane that boy from doing whatever he was doing and none of this stuff would happen after a while I just felt all jumbled up because people was screaming and yelling stuff about hunting and all of that stuff. This choir grope came after a lot of other people and this one guy stud out to me I guess because he looked pallor and then he fell I started to run to him but everybody else got there before me. I made some friends and all of us went to go find something to eat or a lake or a lagoon we found a lagoon but we didn’t think it was safe to drink it we clambered up and down hills then we found fruit trees we picked fruit and we all devoured the fruit down like a seagulls fighting over somebody’s leftovers it started to get dark so we found a place to sleep.
